Simply Green

I realized sometime last month that I am a huge consumer for all of the same brands such as ASOS, Forever 21, Lane Bryant, Ashley Stewart…I mean the list can go on. So, I decided for the rest of the year, I will try to focus on different brands than what I’m used to that also have a positive and beautiful voice in the plus size community.

One fear I usually run into when purchasing from any new brand whether big or small is the sizing. For some reason, I feel nervous that the brands sizing would be so off from other brands that I am used to purchasing from. We all hate having to spend time and money on clothing, wait for it to arrive if we are purchasing online just for it to get our homes and not fit when we try it on. I hate having to return or exchange items, because it can possibly take me forever to do it and I can easily slide out of the return timeframe that brands provide.

Well, I would love to say I have chosen Curvy Sense as the brand I’ll be featuring on the blog and my Youtube channel for this month. I had such a positive outcome with this brand guys, I can’t even deal. And I actually got the nerve to reach out of my comfort zone and purchase my first ever jumper and romper 🙂 I’m so excited!

This little green number here is so gorgeous. Firstly, I love the way the dress fits me; it clings but doesn’t smother my figure. I am a size 20 and ordered the Modal Asymmetric Dress in a 3X and I ain’t hating it y’all.

I have to say this is the perfect dress to compliment any curvy figure during a night out, The fabric feels so good too! It was nothing but perfect to pair this beautiful dress with my nude strappy heel sandals (similar). My accessories were the Rhinestone Lariat Necklace , the rhinestone bracelet, and the gold embellished studs from Charlotte Russe.

This is by far one of my favorite pieces from my shopping experience with Curvy Sense. Tell me, what do you guys think?
