Plus Size Winter Essentials Perfect for layering!
Hey guys! So it is winter time, and that’s the time of year where we need a bunch of essential pieces for layering our outfits. There are just some pieces such as sweaters, leggings, boots and more that you absolutely need when pulling your look together. Today, I released a plus size winter haul of some great Walmart pieces that will help you achieve any look you are going for this winter. If you don’t have a set of plus size joggers, then I think it’s time to get some! They’re so versatile, and the ones I have on in this picture by Terra & Sky are super soft. This plus size fleece sweatshirt and sweatpants set is only $20 and it comes in several colors. I am wearing a 3X (24/26), and I am a size 24 so I would advise sizing down to get a better fit.
Here is another look at how you can dress down a pair of joggers and style it this winter. These plus size fleece sweatpants are also very affordable. They come in a pack of 2 and you can choose different color combinations. The pack is only $20. I also should have sized down in these. I’m currently wearing a 3X (24/26), so a 2X would have fit me perfectly at a size 24. If you get the perfect size, you won’t have to worry about looking slouchy. Never be afraid to try something with a relaxed fit. When it’s too oversized that’s when you begin to feel slouchy which is why I suggest sizing down a little bit.
QUICK TIP: Here is a quick tip when trying to get the most out of your wardrobe in any season. The thing about having a wardrobe full of essentials is that you can style it in various ways. All you have to do is change up the colors, & accessories and it looks like a totally different look. Therefore, your cost per wear is insane when you think about it.
Walmart always comes through with a 2 pack! The Terra & Sky long sleeve tops came in a 2 pack in 9 different color combinations. I am wearing a size 2X (20/22), so if you want yours to fit similarly I would definitely size down. This 2 pack is only $13, and I have them paired with the Terra & Sky full length leggings. The leggings are $9.99, so you know I had to get a couple of them. Honestly, you can never have too many leggings and these are super soft. Of course, I paired each outfit with the Time and Tru Lug boots. They’re only $20 and also come in wide width options and various colors.
