I’m praying you guys are comfy at home and not allowing this pandemic to ruin your peace of mind and of heart. I have been trying to get my life back together after letting myself and my house go for well over a year – which is why I thought an April favorites video would be great!
I’ve been budgeting and trying to get my life back in order this month. Shoot I might as well since I am stuck in the house right. Here are some of the home, beauty and fashion items that have taken up my time and concentration this month.
If you didn’t get anything from my favorites video, I hope you got the importance of no longer flushing your tampons down the toilet. Use these disposable tampon bags to save your plumbing. They start at 14.95 for a 45 pack and go up from there.
I’ve talked about these house shoes several times, because they’re just that comfortable! They are 19.99 at Target and $3 at Walmart because there are only a handful left in each color.
Pretty soon I plan on doing a little photo gallery project in the house. It has been a year and I have yet to have any pictures hung on my walls. Last week I order 12 of these 8.5 x 11 picture frames from Michael’s and they were on sale for $9.60 each. I can’t wait to get my family photos printed for this gallery wall. The final product will be amazing!
Like I stated in the video, I am not an avid coffee drinker because I can not do hot coffee. But instead of constantly buying iced coffee at the store I can’t go to much anymore, I’ve started to make it at home. The Hamilton 2 Way Coffee Maker has been my partner in the mornings. It’s also a great Mother’s Day gift.
One thing this quarantine has taught me is that I don’t have any house clothes lol. I’m glad to learn that this was a thing that I should have been aware of before the age of 30, but I have definitely been racking up at Boohoo since all their clothes are 60% off.
(left) – This nude ribbed lounge set is $16. Very comfortable and cute. Makes you actually think you did something that day. It comes in black as well…which I also have lol.
(Middle) – These ribbed leggings are so cute – just look at the detail of it on Boohoo’s site. It’s $12.80 and I only got it in black, but it also comes in blue and nude. I’m wearing a size 18 in the ribbed top which is over sized so it still has a cute fit. Right now this color is $3.80, and it comes in a teal color that I hate I didn’t get.
(Right) – Shout out to all of you who are still trying to get your body moving during all of this. This top is from Walmart, active leggings from Lane Bryant, and running shoes from DSW.
Listen, since the salons are closed, we have to do the hard work of doing our hair ourselves. I’ve had this Hood Dryer for years, and haven’t had to use it that much…until quarantine. I just did a hot oil treatment on my hair, and this bad boy came in handy. It’s only $18.95…great price and long lasting buy.
I refuse to allow the spiders to find a place of peace in my house. I ordered these durable glass spray bottles and filled them with water. liquid soap, and some peppermint oil as suggested by several of you guys in my previous videos. I spray the mixture around my house and it keeps the spiders at bay until I can schedule another pest control treatment.
Currently, this is my office setup. I am nowhere near completed with this office and it looks a bit more messy since we have been working from home. This fuzzy white pouf I got from Walmart has really helped with the foot swelling that I would experience when at my job.
I hope you guys enjoyed the video and are safe and comfortable at home!
Hey!
Just to let you know, I think you are so cute and such an inspiring person! Keep doing what you do coz its amazing!
xoxo
Thank you!
