Pleated skirts are back for the win! I actually really love this outfit which is head to toe from Target might I add (excluding the jewelry). I was talking to my babes on Instagram about the crazy rule of not wearing white after labor day. Raise your hand if you still follow these fashion rules…I don’t.
Honestly, my wardrobe isn’t large enough for fashion rules, but if it was I wouldn’t even care enough to follow them. I loved pairing this v-neck white short sleeve with the black pleated skirt. That plus the costume jewelry helped make a simple top into a cute and chic outfit.
Some women feel that pleated skirts make them look bulky, but if selected correctly this would be far from the truth. Which is why I love the pleated skirts at Target. They are just the right length without all the extra material that would add bulkiness to an outfit.
If you wear this in the Fall, it would go extremely well with some booties or over the knee boots, and a petticoat.
