Not too long ago I went to a plus size event at Loft. They were launching their extended sizes in their store located in The Woodlands Mall. Can we talk about how exciting it is to have another brand introducing plus sizes into their stores?
Loft announced their extended sizes earlier this year in February, and honestly at first it didn’t catch much of my attention. Not until I went to the event at Loft in October was I even interested in what they had to offer the plus size community.
So, today I am going to tell you guys 4 things you should know about Loft and their new extended sizes.
Their Size Range
Loft currently offers up to a size 26. I say currently, because I would not be surprised to see later on them extend those size options to maybe a 30 or 32. It makes me so happy to know that Loft was willing to go all the way to offering a size 26 on their first attempt at extending their sizes.
Usually you will see brands only go up to a size 20 or 22 when launching their plus size selections. So, I am excited that Loft has surpassed the norm of what they offer.
I am currently wearing this vest from Loft in a size 22. It was THE first item that caught my eye when I went to the launch.
Their Quality
One of the things I noticed when browsing through their selection was the quality of clothes. Since I mostly shop the fast fashion sites, I am usually compromised on quality in order to get more affordable pieces. Honestly, this could cost me a lot later on.
I have found that when sacrificing quality, it causes me to have to shop more frequently. This is something I really care about now that I am more concerned with where my money is being spent. Which brings me to my next point.
Their Prices
Loft is not a place you can walk into and grab a $5 shirt. Their clothes aren’t in the price range of Chanel or Christian Siriano, but they are investment pieces that you will not have to consistently replace every year.
For instance this vest is priced at $69.50 which isn’t bad at all if you think about how long you can keep wearing this piece. I have always wanted to branch into investing more into my wardrobe and style. So, having brands like Loft offering me this option is exhilarating.
Their Style
With me being a blogger with a day job, I am very open about how I have to dress in the corporate world. Loft offers tons of options for the plus size career woman. We can’t always walk around in off the shoulder tops and midi dresses.
I am excited about having invested in pieces that I can wear in my everyday life and not just on my YouTube channel or my blog.
