So, for the first post ever on my plus size fashion blog I want to talk about the importance of having confidence.
Hope you guys are having a fabulous week! Now lets get into some great information about having confidence. The first important thing about having confidence is you will begin to build a relationship with the person you are around the most…yourself! Who better to form an intimate relationship with other than yourself? There are women in the world who try so hard to find others that will help them appreciate their lives more. Whether it be a boyfriend, husband, best friend, family, children, associates, etc. They are only there to compliment your life, but not define it.
Now don’t get me wrong, it is important to build relationships outside of yourself. Though through experience I have learned that the better your relationship with yourself is, the better your outside relationships will be. I would say this reason falls under the phrase “know your worth”. When you know your worth, you will only give time and energy to things that will not be toxic in your life. Basically, we won’t be settling for anyone or anything anytime soon! No matter how you’re feeling, you deserve the best!
Challenge: This month, separate yourself from everyone for 30 minutes to an hour a day. Spend time with yourself and do things you enjoy (meditate, go to a spa, workout, walk in the park, etc.). By the end of the month you should feel more connected with yourself, and wanting to do this more often.
